Japan
A gallery of images from my years living in Japan.
Ginza abstract
Sunset from Shonan beach, with Mt. Fuji in the distance
After that day, I tried for three years to get a real shot of the sun setting over the mountain, and finally succeeded
Golden Gai, Tokyo
The statue, built more than 800 years ago, was originally housed in a temple that was destroyed by either a great storm or a tsunami in 1495. It has sat outdoors since
The famous Shibuya crossing
For me, the statue is sublime, matched perhaps only by the Sokkuram Buddha in South Korea

This was a “diamond Fuji” day, in which the sun set directly over the top of the mountain. The shadow of the mountain can be seen projected forward on the haze

Incredible photography. Many WOWs came out of my mouth while looking.
I also liked your Europe section a lot. It’s not just excellent technique but you expressed the atmosphere of Europe.
Thank you, I really enjoyed it.
