Kodak Ektar 47mm f2 lens

This is a standard double gauss 6 element in four groups design, but it is noteworthy both for its excellent sharpness and interesting bokeh. There is an interchangeable lens version made for the Kardan, but it is very expensive. I adapted one from an old folding Retina IIb. An earlier camera, the Kodak Bantam Special, had a 45mm f2.0 version that is very similar. As always, I am a sucker for very strong ” ni-sen” bokeh, and while this lens is not as over-the-top as the Okaya Highkor or the Leotax Leonon, it has a more delicate rendering that I find very pleasing.
