Wollensak 50mm f1.5 Anastigmat lens

This is the first version of a lens that went through a number of incarnations. It is mounted in a shutter and my understanding is that this is another lens meant to record oscilloscope traces, predating the Oscillo Anastigmats, Amatons and Raptars.  It doesn’t have as much field curvature as some of the later Oscillo-Raptars, but it is still pretty miserable in the corners focused at a distance.  It has a very characteristic bokeh. Interestingly, as one goes from fully open at f1.5 to f2.0 the bokeh becomes rather swirly. Here are some examples:
