lenslensThe 55mm f1.2 was the first (and fastest) of Nikon’s F mount normal lenses. It went through several incarnations before being replaced by the 50mm f1.2. The 55mm is not as good optically as the later 50mm, but it does have lovely bokeh, very similar, I found out, to the Cosina 55mm f1.2 in PK mount. It was never my favorite 1.2, but I have come to appreciate it and am finding the sweet spot with it.
